Small Medicinal Leeches

Small medicinal leeches are by far our most popular product to date. Perhaps due to its low price that makes purchasing this little leech so attractive, or because the little leech as a bloodsucker feels more comfortable for beginners or shy patients for leech therapy, we don't know for sure, but this product is our #1 runner.
Small leeches are easily and effectively used in any type of leech therapy, from cosmetic “anti-aging” and rejuvenation procedures to draining blood from the belly button or body corpus, where small leeches do not leave a mark, to the most difficult places where leeches are applied can, namely the head and the intimate region. Not to mention, small leeches are also the only leech size that can be used on sensitive areas of the body: such as arms, face, inner thighs, neck and neck, as well as hemorrhoids. Small leeches handle all of these delicate situations equally well. Perhaps one application where the little leech might not be as suitable would be the calf muscles of the legs or upper back. Larger leeches are required there to reduce the blood pressure built up in the blood vessels and to effectively treat back stiffness, leg pain or varicose veins. For everything else, small leeches have been used extensively and are almost always in stock.
However, small leeches suck very little blood and do not release as many bio-compounds to allow for copious post-blood bleeding. Therefore, other sizes may be more suitable for your leech therapy. For complicated or chronic conditions, small leeches may not be the answer as you would need to use five times more of them to get the same result as you would with a large leech. Small leeches can be reused in the same patient approximately 3 months after the first hirudotherapy.
